These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OctoReport ("we", "our", "the Service"). By using OctoReport, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service scope

Content aggregation from search engines, RSS, crawlers, email, and other sources.
LLM-based cleaning and report generation.
Knowledge base management and chat over your content.
Email-triggered workflows and scheduled tasks.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
You are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal activities or to violate others' rights.
Abuse target websites (e.g., excessive crawling, bypassing access controls).
Upload or generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

4. Intellectual property

The OctoReport source code is open-sourced under the MIT license; branding and logos remain our property.
You own the content you ingest and the reports generated from your data.
We may process your content solely to provide and improve the Service; we do not claim ownership.

5. Credits and billing

Usage is billed using a credit system. Different actions (collection, cleaning, reporting, chat) consume different amounts of credits. Failed tasks are automatically compensated.

6. Service changes

We may modify or discontinue features at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes in advance.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses caused by third-party providers.
